The Practical Missions Podcast
Pod #48 Missions is More than Church Planting
We were warned that it would take 6-12 months to adjust to living in our new country. It was actually about two years.
Today on the Pod, I talk to a guy who’s been in missions for over 15 years and has an obvious love for what he does. My guest today reminds us that there is a lot more to missions than church planting in hard places. We also take a deep and helpful dive into transition on and off the field.

I find myself asking, What would I be cynical about, because it’s honestly been a huge blessing. I have trouble thinking about what would I be cynical about. Ok, we gave up the American Dream and climbing the ladder, but was really good for us anyway?
