Imagine you’re tired, and you’re not having any fun, and you not taking any breaks; that’s only going to exasperate it. So people should be really, really tired if they are living cross-culturally, and never taking a break, and never having any fun. What a stinky life. Something needs to change.
If we didn’t have kids, we wouldn’t have left the field. The decision was almost 98% for the children.
For TCKs, the number one issue is identity issues; who am I? Where do I belong?
