The problem with modern missions is that we stop at law and never get to words of Gospel. We stop at words of obedience and never get to words of promise. We stop at “do” and never get around to “done.”

The natural vitality is slowly ebbing away. But I want to be as faithful as possible as long as I can. And it just means I have to hold on to Christ tighter.
